This page shows how we reached our score for The Genius Switch, one criterion at a time. It is the short, structured verdict. For the full picture of what the product is and what the seller claims, start at The Genius Switch hub.
Quick verdict: 3.0 out of 5, our editorial score. The Genius Switch is cheap, quick to use and backed by a 90-day refund window. It loses points for claims with no evidence behind them, a presenter we could not verify, testimonials the seller’s own Terms say may be acted out, and a refund page that belongs to another product. How we score is set out on our methodology page.
The score at a glance
Our score breakdown
We rate five areas. Each gets a plain label rather than a fake-precise number, and the overall 3.0 is our judgment across all five.
| Criterion | Our rating | Short reason |
|---|---|---|
| Transparency | Weak | The presenter introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, but his identity and role are not verified. Testimonials may be acted out. Customer numbers cannot be checked. The site’s Refund page is copied from a bottled product |
| Evidence | Very weak | No study of the track. Binaural-beat research is small and mixed, and the video says the method has nothing to do with brain waves anyway. Life-outcome claims rest on anecdotes |
| Safety | Good, with simple precautions | Low physical risk at a comfortable volume. Never while driving. People with epilepsy, seizures or hearing problems should ask a doctor first |
| Value | Fair | $39 once, no subscription, four bonuses. But it is one 8-minute file, and free binaural-beat tracks exist |
| Buyer protection | Strong | 90 days in the Terms and at ClickBank checkout. Instant digital delivery, so the window starts on the day you pay and you lose no time to shipping |
Why not higher
The gap between promise and proof is very wide. The video promises insights, faster learning, luck, money, better relationships, weight loss and pain relief. None of it is backed by a study of the track. The presenter himself, asked about casino luck, says “there is of course no evidence to support that the genius switch caused that”. And the seller’s own Terms frame the products as “for entertainment purposes only”, which is hard to square with a video full of life-changing outcomes.
Why not lower
The buying terms are fair and clear. You pay $39 once. The track arrives by email. The refund window is 90 days, long enough for a real trial, and it is stated in two places that agree with each other. Physical risk is low for most adults when they follow basic listening safety. For a buyer who treats it as a cheap experiment, the downside is mostly time.
What we checked to reach the score
We did not analyze the audio file, and we did not run a trial. The score comes from the primary material, in this order:
- The sales video. All 36 minutes, including the claims, the price steps, the bonuses and the Q&A section.
- The official sales page. The crossed-out prices, the “Today Just For $39” offer, the guarantee wording and the listed references.
- The Terms of Service. The Terms of Sale, the 90-day digital refund rule, the “For Entertainment Purposes Only” section and the testimonial disclosures.
- The separate Refund page. Which turned out to be a NeuroActivate bottle policy.
- The ClickBank checkout. “Digital Product”, immediate access, local currency and tax, and the 90-day return policy.
- Research context. Published work on binaural beats, including the Ross and Lopez 2020 attentional-blink study the sales page cites.
Prices were checked on 2026-10-09. If the seller changes its terms, the value and buyer protection ratings may change.
What would move the score
| Change | Likely effect on our score |
|---|---|
| A published study testing this track | Up, if the results hold. This is the biggest missing piece |
| The presenter’s identity and role confirmed in a checkable way | Up on transparency |
| Testimonials shown without dramatization, with typical results | Up on transparency |
| The Refund page corrected to describe this digital product | Up slightly on transparency |
| Claims trimmed to match the evidence | Up on evidence fairness |
| Refund window shortened below 90 days | Down on buyer protection |
| A subscription or repeat charge added at checkout | Down, sharply, on buyer protection |
Is 3.0 too generous for a product with no evidence?
It is a fair question. Our answer: the score rates The Genius Switch as a purchase, not as a therapy. A buyer who uses the refund window mainly risks some time. That low downside, plus a short and simple routine, keeps it from dropping lower. The weak evidence and weak transparency are why it is not higher, and we say so on every Genius Switch page.
It also helps to be clear about what the score does not say. It does not say the track will improve your focus, memory, luck or finances. It does not rank The Genius Switch against other audio products, because none is live in our catalog yet. And it does not replace a medical check. Anyone with new or worsening memory problems should see a doctor first.

A realistic 90-day test plan
The video’s own timelines range from the first listen to “a couple weeks”. Here is a plan that fits those timelines and the refund window.
| When | What to do | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Before day 1 | Rate your focus, mood and sleep from 1 to 10 for three days. Save the ClickBank receipt | A baseline you can compare against |
| Days 1 to 14 | Listen once a day for 8 minutes, seated or lying down, at a comfortable volume | Some people find quiet listening relaxing. Big changes are not something we can promise |
| Around week 4 | Repeat the three-day rating | Past the seller’s “couple weeks” mark, so a fair first check |
| Around week 10 | Repeat it again and compare with your baseline | Your clearest picture of whether it helps you |
| By day 80 | Decide whether to keep it or request a refund | The refund window closes 90 days after purchase |
Unlike a supplement with a refund counted from delivery, this window starts on the day you pay. The upside is that the track arrives at once, so no days are lost. Write the purchase date somewhere you will see it.

Try it with the refund as a backstop
One payment of $39, the track by email, and 90 days to decide. Save your ClickBank receipt as soon as it arrives.
